Animal Crackers in My Soup

A couple of months ago, before my sewing machine started to gather dust I took a day off work. I had planned it so that the kids would be at daycare and I would have the day to myself where I could sew to my hearts content and not have any interruptions.   I managed to knock out two pairs of O+S Sleep Over Pj's

The first pair which I am showing you today was for Harry.  This is his first pair of mumma-made pj's and I am happy to say that he likes them.

The main fabric is from Spotlight. I love this fabric and it reminds me of the song 'Animal Crackers' the contrasting fabric is a Michael Miller stripe that I have had in my stash for quite awhile.

Size is 2T - there is quite a bit of room in them, so I know they will last for awhile.  I have again left off the pockets. There is two reasons for this, and both of them are laziness related.  One, I do not check pockets when I wash. I have enough problems with Mat and his need to leave tissues and pens in his pockets. I can't take the pockets off him, but I can leave them off kids clothing.  Second bout of laziness, is I can't be bothered to go to the extra effort to make them.

Are you shocked about how big my Harry boy is getting???? I am and I look at him every day.  At the moment he is nearly at the same weight as Ella, who will be 5 in less than 2 weeks.

Anyway I thought I would show you some of Harry's self choreographed modelling session. He may have a future career, if he grows a bit taller than Mat or I (modelling is in my families gene's, even though it did skip me)

Having fun - party boy
