I can't remember the amount of times I have made the Oliver and S Bubble Dress. Despite the numerous times I have made it, its still a favourite.  I have definitely gotten my monies worth out of this pattern.

I made two bubble dresses for Ella over Christmas.  She is still slim, so I left the bodice at a size 3T while lengthening the skirt to a size four.

I made the dress a couple of months ago now, but Ella must have grown a few inches as it is looking a little shorter than it was before.

The fabric is Laura Gunn Big Poppies.  I loved this fabric when it first came out and bought a couple of yards of it. I did not realise when I bought it that the flowers were so big and when it came I had no idea what to do with it, so it has been sitting in my stash waiting for something to come along.

I love the scale of the flowers and being over-sized has really worked on the dress.

Next time I think I am going to have to lengthen the skirt to a size 5, maybe even a size 6.

It looks awesome!
I got caught with the size of the 'blooms' on this print too.
Hmmm,Bubble dress might be a good idea.

Gorgeous Jen - Wish I had got that pattern early - pretty sure 5 is the biggest so I have missed the boat!

Fabulous. Oh Ella is so beautiful. Your sewing combined with Ella's Ella-ness is a match made in heaven. xxx
